One Two Three
My..internet......is...laggginnnggg...like...crraazzzyy.
And it is so frustrating 'cause i can't open the files on TPJC.net ARGH!! Sorry Lynn! ):
So while the darn file is taking 8729846years to open, i shall blog. Read today's Sunday times about inflation and all 'cause of the US recession and DARN. Everyone seems to be making a conscious effort to save save save. On Electricity usage, water usage, transport fees, cab fares and even expenditure on food. I felt so terribly wasteful after reading the related articles so i've decided to come up with a savings scheme, of some sort.
I shall:
1. Use the computer for mostly necessary tasks such as reading my online messages on TPJC.net, using microsoft word to type my WR and such. Well of course i can't be ridiculously strict about this 'cause i also need to blog and go on msn, social networks, check my random mail once in a very long while so i'll spare myself 1 hour for that. HAHA, this doesn't sound very efficient at all, maybe i'll think of something else.
2. Send less text messages and cut down on talk time usage 'cause my phonebill usually costs a BOMB. So my target for next month, is for my phonebill to cost less than 50bucks. Now, THIS, is a CHALLENGE.
3. Eat out less. This way, i can save my random allowance and diet at the same time. ;p
4. Drink plain water from my water bottle when i'm in school instead of buying drinks from the canteen/cafe. An occasional milo drink is permitted because i cannot live without milo.
5. Save up for things i want to buy, not draw back on savings!
6. Buy only necessary items. Occasional indulgence in WANT-items are permitted. Like the darn-frickin'-hot running shorts claudia and a I have our eyes on!
7. Wake up earlier and take the bus to school instead of hailing a cab everytime i'm so close to being late. Cab fares are extremely hefty now, It's a lifestyle i CANNOT afford!
8. Ensure i carry out all of the above.
I know, it's slightly ambitious but i'm determined to start saving! I've already started switching off all the powerpoints whenever i'm not using them and setting my air-conditioning on timer! Hohoho! [: But there's one thing i must have, a new phone! My lovely E900's on it's way into it's grave and i need to get a new phone before this one dies out 'cause i'm heavily dependent on my phone. Tsk tsk, the problem is. I can't seem to find anything i fancy so far. I was phone-scouting online this afternoon and everything's either too complicated (meaning to say that there're tons of functions, which is good except i'd rarely use them so it's not value for my money) or the design of the phone just, isn't very appealing. I can't wait for more phone models to appear in the market. ARGH.
I have more issues to spill but it's gonna make this post a really long one so i guess i'll just blog about that some other time. It's also from today's Sunday times paper. See, i've been reading my newspapers often okay.
