Some taxi drivers are just SO annoying. It's not because they talk too much or give you cold stares, but because they're stupid, and act like they're professors. I'm saying this, figuratively. Took a cab today, with the sickening driver tellin me that there ain't no road through there and here. Hello Hello, i've been to the place before. And yet he's all " i've been driving here so many times already la! i know more than you! " Okay Mr.Haughty. Then guess what happens? he reaches a junction and turns left saying " i'm not very sure arh, i drive taxi only one yr plus hor. Not very sure , we try this road first okay? " HE DIDN'T EVEN ASK IT BEFORE HE TRIED THE ROAD. stuck in the middle of nowhere, he winds down the window to ask for directions from ANOTHER taxi driver (how pathetic that he isn't aware that he has a street directory right beside him). Finally, we get to the correct road, suddenly, he receives a phonecall. and i had to tell him to stop THREE TIMES. ( I had to yell on the third attempt to get him to stop cause he's totally deaf). I can't imagine what kind of image tourists would have of singapore's transport "ambassadors".
